The dip and read method of this turbidity meter makes taking readings easy. The turbidity sensor combines a 90° nephelometer with a transmissometer which determines turbidity by the ratiometric method in which errors typically caused by variations in light beam intensity, fouling of windows, changing colors and ambient light are virtually eliminated. The meter is calibrated by the manufacturer and comes with a 25' cable. (Longer lengths up to 100' are available upon request. Call 1-800-647-5368 for details.) Range: 0 to 50 and 0 to 1,000 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units). Accuracy: 5%. Resolution: 12 bit. Response Time: 2 seconds. Light Source: pulse LED. Process Temperature: 0°C to 70°C. Pressure: 0 to 50 psi. Power: 9V DC Battery. Dimensions: Body, 1.5" Dia. x 8.5"L; Sensor Shield, 1.7" x 2"; Overall Length, 9".

Global Water's Turbidity Sensor is a highly accurate submersible instrument for in-situ environmental or process monitoring.  Applications for the turbidity sensors include: water quality testing and management, river monitoring, stream measurement, reservoir water quality testing, groundwater testing, water and wastewater treatment, and effluent and industrial control.
